Audio - An easy way of ensuring that you have audio properly enabled for alarms, etc., is to open the Ham Radio Deluxe program and then your sound card controls, make a selection and then click on the HRD Voice menu and select one of the immediate voice announcements such as Frequency.
Noise - If you are experiencing radio noise created by the computer, here is a tip from the forum pages. Just wind the control cable through a FERRITE ring several times. Do NOT use a powdered iron core.
