Audio Browser - Provides MP3 file browse and play facilities for recorded QSOs. As your collection of recorded QSOs increases, you will need some simple management facility. This module provides that facility as well as playback control.

- This button provides a standard Windows folder browse for folder selection. It will default to the program default folder or directory. Simply navigate to the appropriate folder, select it, and available MP3 files will be displayed at the bottom of the browser window.

- Refreshes the window display.


The first four buttons are player control buttons and represent Play, Pause, Start Again and Stop. Like most item in Ham Radio Deluxe, Tooltips are visible if the mouse cursor is placed on any of the controls.

The remaining right hand button accesses the Audio Grabber module so that you can create other recordings. See the Tools/Audio Grabber option for more details.

If the Repeat checkbox is checked, the MP3 file will play repeatedly.

The Speed slidebar provides a means of changing the MP3 playing speed - slower to the left and faster to the right. Recorded speed is centred.

The Volume slidebar simply provides a means of modifying the playback volume - softer to the left and louder to the right.

The checkboxes need to be checked in order to make the slidebar functions available.

This section provides customisation of the the playback range of the MP3 file. The start point and end point can be changed.

From: - The left facing chevron button will set the playback start at the beginning of the file with a single click. A click on the hammer button will set a playback start point to the current position in the MP3 file being played. The slider provides an approximate playback start position.

To: - The right facing chevron button will set the playback end at the end of the file with a single click. A click on the hammer button will set a playback end point to the current position in the MP3 file being played. The slider provides an approximate playback end position.

The bottom slider is simply a current playback position indicator with elapsed time being displayed at the left.

- provides a means of copying a selected MP3 file to another location. A standard Windows folder selection window will be displayed.
- Sends the selected file to the recycle bin with a prior warning prompt window.
- Moves the selected file to a new location with a standard folder selection window.
- Provides a facility for renaming the selected file.

- Provides a facility for adding or editing the Artist field for the selected file.
- Provides a facility for adding or editing the Album field for the selected file.
- Provides a facility for adding or editing the Title field for the selected file.
- Provides a facility for adding or editing the Description field for the selected file.
