Note that all Program Options changes are applied immediately.PTT Control - Provides for selection of how the PTT (Push To Talk) or the Transmit/Recieve function is to be managed.
Option Group:
Com Port - If you choose Com Port as the means of Transmit/Receive switching, the Com Port group of options becomes available.
FT-817 Commander - Choose this option if you will be using the FT-817 Commander program for Transmit/Receive switching.
Ham Radio Deluxe - Choose this option if you will be using Ham Radio Deluxe for Transmit/Receive switching.
Vox or Soundcard to radio interface - Choose this option if you will be using an audio interface for Transmit/Receive switching - like I do.
Com Port Options Group:
If you select the Com Port for Transmit/Receive switching, these options become necessary and available.
None (port disabled) - The Com Port is not being used.
RTS only - Use this option if you are using Request To Send detection only.
DTR only - Use this option if you are using Data Terminal Ready detection only.
RTS and DTR (recommended) - Use this option if you will be using Request To Send and Data Terminal Ready detection as recommended.
